Morvan: What to do when you get there?
The Morvan is a hilly massif lying to the west of Côte d'Or in Burgundy. The highest peak sits at an altitude of 901 metres.
Since 1970, this area has been declared a regional national park and its ecosystem has a wealth of forests and rivers. In this vast terrain you can practice a large variety of sports activities such as mountain biking, thanks to the steep descents. You can also practice kayaking and rafting and even climb the rocky facades.
Situated only 2 hours from Paris, Morvan is the closest spots where you can practice white water activities, making it ideal for a weekend get away with friends. The two rivers are the Cure and Chalaux, they regularly host French and international white water championships.
