What to do in Les Deux Alpes

Les Deux Alpes, one of the oldest ski resorts in France where you can practice glacier skiing even in summer!

Les Deux Alpes situated in the massifs of Oisans in the Isere department is renowned as the 2nd oldest French resort after Chamonix. The resort caters to the demands of everyone, from couples to families and from beginners to advanced level extreme thrill seekers.

With over 50 mechanical lifts available, Les Deux Alpes contains a total of 96 marked trails spread across the resort however, they also have as many backcountry slopes. Conversely the lower slopes are steeper and much more daring than the higher ones, which is why it’s been nicknamed the ‘upside down’ resort.

This is one of the rare remaining resorts where the glacier offers the possibility of skiing in the summertime. Like many other ski resorts of the region, in summer Les Deux Alpes is very popular for downhill and free-ride mountain biking.

Also famous for its snow park, Les Deux Alpes has one of the largest and most complex snow parks in the whole of Europe, and one of the most popular in the entire world!
