Our story

Manawa was launched in 2016 by a team of outdoor enthusiasts—divers, hikers, and surfers—who were tired of the friction involved in booking a great experience. They were frustrated by the hours spent searching, the manual phone calls, and the language barriers that stood between them and their next adventure. To solve this, they set out to build a bridge between a traveler’s dream and a provider’s local expertise. What began as a mission to make these "offline" activities bookable online has grown into a global specialist website.

Today, with a curated network of over 3,000 professional partners, Manawa has become the go-to destination for anyone looking to focus on the thrill of the moment while we handle the behind-the-scenes logistics.
