Practical information
2.5 hour moderate to difficult hike – the most popular, quickest, oldest, and busiest route to the top of Table Mountain. The hike has a steep ascent that leads to a flat traverse of the Western table summit. Descent is by cable car.

The weather on the mountains can change unexpectedly and sudden drops in temperature are common. It is suggested to wear clothing that prevents sunburn on hot, sunny days, and to wear layers according to the weather.
During the cableway maintenance closure period an additional tariff based off of the one-way cableway ticket per person is charged, if the hiking route involves descending Table Mountain on foot.
