Come visit a world-class sleddog kennel during a beautiful summer day, when huskies are basking in the sun and are ready to play!

These hard-working huskies enjoy their summer break after a long winter. At the kennel, you will find over 100 dogs taking some well-earned rest. These social and friendly pups just want to play and show you around their home. A guide will also take you around the dog yards and give you a fascinating look into how the dogs are trained, fed, and bred. In addition, your guide will share their own experiences in some of the toughest dog sledding competitions in the world.

The huskies benefit from and love meeting different people, so you are absolutely more than welcome to play with them! You can even enjoy a short ride with them in a summer cart so that you can see firsthand their impressive strength! Once the visit is over, you can join your guide for some tea, coffee, and cookies before heading back to your accommodations.

We went for a kennel visit, knowing that we'd be limited on activities due to the time of year. Daniel and Emily were amazing! They were extremely nice, highly knowledgeable, and took great care of all the dogs. You can tell that their highest priority is ensuting a pleasant visit for everyone, including the animals. They took time to explain everything in detail, answer questions, and help us understand the whys and why nots to everything surrounding sledding. We loved our experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone!
