Les Arcs: What to do when you get there?
Les Arcs is a renowned French winter sports resort located in Savoie in the Tarentaise Valley. It was founded in 1968 by two friends, who fell in love with the steep landscapes of the Alps Mountains; one was a mountain guide and the other a native of the Alps. Since then, the resort has grown and now counts four holiday centres up the moutains of Paradiski, which is actually one of the biggest ski areas in France. Just imagine the possibilities!
Whether you are a beginner or already a true adrenaline addict, Les Arcs has the means to answer your every skiing expectation.
If you are looking for fresh snow, you can try to uncover the 435km marked trails, try-out your snowboard freestyle figures in the snow park or slide down the backcountry slopes away from the crowd.
Head out and explore the area on a snowmobile or enjoy the magnificent views whilst paragliding over the resort.
Families can have fun signing up for activities inside the resort such as swimming, ice skating, laser games, and many others.
Les Arcs resort is constantly developing, which is why they host the European freestyle ski event: B&E Invitational. As well as the GMX Gavaggio Monster Cross a skicross race in the mountains.
As it is only 3 hours away from the international airports of Geneva and Lyon, Les Arcs is a very accessible resort.
Mountain addicts, come check-out the slopes, you know you can't refuse!
