Audierne Bay: The Must-Do Activities

Audierne Bay: What to do when you get there?

Audierne Bay runs along the coast of the Finistère department. Situated in the north-west of France in the region of Brittany, this bay is delimited in the south by Pointe de Penmarch and in the north by the renowned Pointe du Raz.

Brittany, notably this area offers many water sports activities such as surfing, stand up paddling, scuba diving and many many more.

This part of the coast is reputed for its impressive storms that create huge waves at the beginning of the winter period. Not only that, but you’ll be surrounded by the most stunning scenery of the northern coast!

From Penmarch and La Torche, you’ll be privy to exceptional panoramas of the rocky coast. Once in the bay, you’ll have access to a coast that is bordered with pebbles that have been carried along by the waves. The backdrop here is made up of a pond that has a wealth of fauna, especially birds.

Near the Pointe du Raz, you’ll find cliffs and beaches that provide you with spectacular views when the storm is in.

No one could ever get bored in Audierne Bay; the Breton culture is very riche and will keep you amused throughout your visit.
