On this excursion, you'll discover scuba diving in Athens!

The scuba diving session begins at the dive centre in Athens, where you'll be greeted by the certified instructor. This adventure is suitable for complete beginners! Upon arrival, you'll fill out some paperwork and learn about the theory of scuba diving, such as facts about pressure change, breathing underwater, hand signal communication, and scuba diving equipment. You'll receive the scuba diving equipment (mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit, buoyancy control device, regulator, tank, and weights) and learn about its use.

After the theory session, the guide will drive you to the dive site in Athens. At the site, you'll prepare and assemble the equipment with the instructor. Starting in shallow water, you'll practice using the equipment and go through simple exercises to help you feel confident breathing underwater. Then, it's time for your first scuba dive in Athens! With the guidance of the instructor, you'll dive below the surface and explore the hidden underwater world.

At a maximum depth of 6 m (20 ft), you'll discover the world beneath the surface of the crystal-clear Aegean Sea and experience the incredible sensation of breathing underwater. You may encounter different marine species, such as octopuses, colourful fish, sea sponges, and even turtles! At the end of the scuba diving excursion, you'll return to the surface and the instructor will drive you back to the dive centre in Athens, where you'll give back the equipment and receive a certificate of completion.
