Boat dives on a daily basis in Marathon bay in Athens. Wrecks, walls, caverns and rich marine life to explore

Are you a certified diver looking for boat dives in Athens? Diving Experiences has a solution for you. Only 45 minutes from the center of Athens in south Evoikos Gulf, a variety of dive sites from the most relaxing to the most challenging ones are there to explore. Every day we organize guided dive trips to the island of Platourada, the island of Dipsa and Marathon Cape.

Our speedboat is located in Marathon beach. From there and within 6 miles (20 minutes) distance are Platourada island, Dipsa island and Marathon cape. A scuba instructor will guide you to dive at some of the most interesting dive places of the Mediterranean Sea. Wrecks, walls, caverns and slopes full of relics of ancient shipwrecks are there to explore. The warm waters, great visibility, and a rich marine life guarantee a great diving experience.

Dimitris and еру team organize daily boat dives in the cape of Marathon. Remember to bring your certificate and get ready for some adventure while in Athens. The centre operates year-round so you will have the chance to dive whenever... anyway it's not that cold in Athens.

The diving spots are rich in marine life. What's even better? You can find ancient amphorae at the bottom of the sea. You will enjoy diving around Dipsa island and Platourada island.

Wreck dives are only available if the weather permits it, as access can be quite difficult.

Practical information

Activity requirements

Open Water Certificate or equivalent.

Diving within 12 hours of flying is not recommended.

All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (e.g. asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
