About the activity

As you walk through the heart of Sainte-Anne Canyon, you’ll feel tiny against the sheer scale of this landscape shaped by nature over millennia. Just a short distance from Québec City, you'll get to enjoy spectacular mountainous scenery. Accessible even to visitors with reduced mobility, this walk offers a pleasant and sociable experience in a well-equipped site featuring a restaurant, terrace, picnic areas, play zones, discovery trails, information panels in six languages, and a souvenir shop.

The hiking route at Sainte-Anne Canyon stretches over 3 kilometres of trails, running alongside a spectacular waterfall that is higher than Niagara Falls. You’ll be amazed by the breathtaking views over the canyon carved by the powerful Sainte-Anne River through granite rock. The site also features three suspension bridges crossing the falls, including one rising to 60 metres, as well as eight viewing platforms offering outstanding panoramic views.

For thrill-seekers, the experience can be enhanced with a zip line adventure across the canyon. Unique in Canada, this zip line takes you soaring 90 metres above the canyon, reaching speeds of up to 50 km/h, offering a completely new perspective on the landscape.

Nestled in the heart of Québec’s mountains and forests, Sainte-Anne Canyon is ideally located between Québec City and Charlevoix, close to the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré and Montmorency Falls. If you’re looking for an unforgettable nature experience in the region, this is a must-visit destination. Don’t hesitate to book your hike in Sainte-Anne Canyon!
