A guided snowmobile excursion of 3 to 3.5 hours on the trails at Sainte-Christine-d'Auvergne, as driver or passenger.
- Meeting with the team at Au Chalet en Bois Rond's "Pavillon de l'Espace Plein Air" at least 30 minutes before the start of the activity
- Administrative formalities (rental contract and deposit), then equipment (helmet, boots, mittens, trousers and snow jacket)
- Briefing on the activity, safety instructions and driving the snowmobile
- Departure for a 3 to 3.5-hour snowmobile ride on the trails at Sainte-Christine-d'Auvergne with a mid-course break during which drivers will be able to change places with their passenger if the latter meets the conditions required to drive the snowmobile
- Return to base and end of the activity
Minimum driver age: 21 years old
All drivers must bring a physical copy of their driver's license.
Anyone under 21 or without a valid driving licence must take part as a passenger on a snowmobile.
Passengers must be tall enough to put their feet flat on the snowmobile: passengers must have 3 points of support, which are the backrest, their hands on the handles and their feet firmly on the running boards.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the departure time.
It is compulsory to wear a balaclava under the safety helmet for hygiene reasons (not included, balaclava can be purchased on site for $9.95 + tax).
The price of the activity is per snowmobile, not per person. A snowmobile can carry up to 2 people (Driver + Passenger).
On arrival, you will be asked to pay a deposit of $3,000 by pre-authorisation on a credit card.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people.
Disabled people may only take part as passengers, provided they can hold on to the handles to stay safely on the snowmobile and remain seated facing forward, with their feet resting on the footrests, as long as the vehicle is in motion.
Au Chalet au Bois Rond is not accessible by public transport, but the team has developed a partnership with a private transport/limousine service, Conciergerie du Terroir.
