- Reception at the Aventures Nord-Bec base in Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury 30 minutes before the start of the activity
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Sled driving training (approx. 15 minutes)
- Departure for a 1-hour dogsled ride in the Jacques-Cartier National Park forest, as a driver or a passenger (for safety reasons, the guide may choose not to have a participant drive, even if they have booked as a driver)
- Back to the outfitter, petting the dogs to thank them
- Visit to the kennels
- Debriefing of the activity over hot chocolate or coffee, then access if you wish to the hiking and snowshoeing trails at the end of the activity
Minimum driver age: 13 years old
All children (under 5) must be accompanied by an adult passenger in a sled.
Please arrive 30 minutes before the departure time.
Being in good physical condition is required to drive the sled. For safety reasons, the guide may choose not to have a participant drive the sled if they feel that the participant is not in the necessary physical condition, even if the participant has booked to drive the sled.
- Please book "One Person in a Solo Sled (ages 12+)" for one participant who is at least 13, in good physical condition and wants to be alone in one sled and drive it.
- Please book "Two Passengers in one sled (ages 6+)" for 2 participants : one has to be the driver (at least 13 and in good physical condition) and one can be passenger. If both can drive, they will be able to switch position during the tour.
- Please book "Three people in one sled" for 3 participants : at least one of them has to be able to drive the sled (at least 13 and in good physical condition). If several participants can drive, they will be able to switch position during the tour.
If you wish, you can add a private transfer from Quebec City (for 1 to 6 people) to your booking request: the team will pick you up at your accommodation 1 hour before the activity, then bring you back once the activity is over.
