Tignes Off Piste

Tignes Off-Piste was founded by independent ski teacher Kev Herbert, a highly experienced off-piste instructor, backcountry tour guide, and mountain safety coach.

Former off-piste instructor for a French ski school, Kev has been based in Tignes for over 20 years. His extensive knowledge of the area has built up from his passion for hiking and climbing in summer and his desire to escape the masses on the pistes in winter.

Tignes Off-Piste provides you with tailor-made individual sessions designed to improve your technique, confidence, and safety awareness, as well as backcountry guiding appropriate to your level and the conditions.

The playground begins with the 10 000ha of off-piste terrain around Tignes. Beyond that, there are backcountry areas linking many of the resorts in the Tarentaise, Maurienne and Aosta valleys.
