Practical information

Discover a herd of bison in the Laurentians: after a short 15-minute walk in the open country, you can admire the herd of woodland bison 'Athabascaes' answering the guide's call to come and have their meal (unlimited observation time).

Course of events

- Welcome at the Kanatha Aki chalet

- Meeting with your guide who will explain the activity and safety instructions

- Heading to the bison herd, a 15-minute walk away

- Once at the herd, the guide will call the animals to give them their meal

- Bison watching with commentary by the guide

- Return to the chalet (15-minute walk) and end of the activity

Activity requirements

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Special terms

This activity is free for children under 4 years old.

Dogs on a lead are allowed during the activity, provided they are kept at a distance from the bison.
