Practical information
A dog sledding excursion in Arundel lasting about 1 hour and 15 minutes, with a 15-minute stop at a chalet halfway along the way.
- Meeting with the guide at Alaskan Aventure base
- Briefing on the activity, safety instructions and how to drive a sled
- Composition of the sleds by the guides (1 driver + 1 to 2 passengers per sled)
- Help with harnessing the dogs (except for the 10.30 a.m. departure)
- Departure for a 1 hour and 15-minute sled dog ride in Arundel, with the possibility for drivers and passengers to change places midway during a 15-minute chalet break (hot chocolate with a traditional Quebec snack)
- Return to base, cuddle the dogs and thank them with cookies, then visit the kennels
- Debriefing of the activity over a hot soup at the reception to end the activity
Children (under 12 years old) must be accompanied by an adult who will drive the sled. It will be up to the guide to decide whether or not a child (between 12 and 17 years old) can drive the sled.
Children aged 4 and under must ride in the guide's sled with a family member.

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people, people with reduced mobility and infants (under 2).
