And to take part, you don't even need to know how to swim: all you need is to be comfortable in the water, with the team providing you with all the equipment you need for your safety (wetsuit, helmet and life jacket) and an instructor guiding you throughout the tubing descent on the River Leven. This experience will allow you to discover the pleasures of white water sports in a fun way, with the chance to take part in little games and challenges, while admiring the superb scenery surrounding you on this upstream section of the river, near Loch Leven.

Practical information
Discover tubing on the River Leven for around 3 hours, through class 2 to 3 rapids.
Please plan to spend a total of 3.5 hours on site.
- Welcome to the Vertical Descents base at Kinlochleven, 5 to 10 minutes before the start of the activity
- Fitting safety equipment (wetsuit, helmet and life jacket)
- Briefing on tubing, the activity and safety instructions
- Launching tubing buoys
- Depart for a 3-hour tubing tour down the River Leven, through class 2 to 3 rapids
- At the end of the tour, transfer back to the base
- De-equipping and end of the activity
You don't need to be able to swim to take part in this activity, but you do need to be comfortable in the water.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
If you have any specific health problems (asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, etc.), please inform the instructor once your booking has been confirmed.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people and is not recommended for people with back problems.
A minimum of 2 participants is required to run this activity.
Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
