Go whale watching near Cape Town by boat for 3 to 4 hours, then round off your experience with a visit to 2 wineries in Hermanus!

From June to November, whale watching is a must in South Africa, as these majestic marine mammals approach the coast to mate and give birth at this time of year. Most whale-watching tours near Cape Town take place in Hermanus, as the chances of seeing the cetaceans are greater in this area. But if you can't make your own way to Hermanus, don't worry: this tour will transfer you to and from your accommodation in Cape Town, while also offering you the chance to visit 2 Hermanus wineries in addition to the whale watching!

Your day begins early in the morning with a pick-up in Cape Town, followed by a drive in an air-conditioned vehicle to Hermanus. Once there, you will immediately board the boat, which will take you out to sea for 3 to 4 hours in search of the incredible whales. A guide will be on hand to tell you all about them throughout the cruise until it is time for you to disembark and have lunch in Hermanus (meal not provided). The rest of the experience will take you to 2 local wineries, Bartho Eksteen Wine Estate and Hamilton Russell Vineyards, for a tour and, if you wish, a wine tasting (at your own expense) before returning to Cape Town.

This unique excursion from Cape Town to see the whales in Hermanus and visit 2 wineries will delight adults looking for an experience like no other. The combination of whale watching and discovering local produce will provide you with extraordinary memories to share with your loved ones at the end of your trip!
