Experience the magic of dolphin watching in Cape Town by sea kayak, the best way to see them up close without disturbing them!
Taking place in Table Bay from the small beach of Three Anchor Bay, this guided sea kayaking excursion to see dolphins in Cape Town is a must for all animal and nature lovers. Accompanied by a local guide, your small group of up to 10 kayakers will set off in search of these cetaceans, which are not uncommon in the area, to observe them and paddle alongside them, without disturbing them. Dolphins are curious animals, so they may come to meet you on their own, especially as sea kayaks emit no noise or pollution, unlike boats!
Your sea kayaking tour in Table Bay will last 2 hours, the ideal time to make the most of the experience without getting too tired. As well as dolphins, you may also come across fur seals and Cape penguins, and for the lucky ones, whales too! All are part of the famous 'Big 5' of South Africa's oceans, a must-see if you get the chance to take part in water-based activities like this. Accessible from the age of 8 to anyone who can swim and is in good physical condition, this sea kayaking tour with the dolphins in Cape Town will give you some magnificent moments at sea, whether you are alone or with a group.
