Join this boat trip along the Isfjord in the direction of Pyramiden and Nordenskiöldbreen: get up close to puffin nests, glaciers, and beautiful sea views!
This 7-hour boat tour will take you down the fjords of Svalbard on a tour of some of the archipelago's most sought-after wildlife, geological features, and cultural hubs.
The main goal of the trip is the visit to Nordenskiöld Glacier in Billefjorden. Along the way, you will also sail by the sheltered bay of Skansebukta, as well as the mining town of Pyramiden. Weather and season permitting, you'll also cruise to some of Svalbard's top nesting spots for many bird species, including puffins, Arctic guillemots, little auks, and plenty of gulls. Your guide will indicate where to point your binoculars to catch a closer glimpse of the ecosystem in which these Arctic birds live.
Don't look up into the sky for the entire journey though, as plenty of surprise visits are possible from under the waves. Indeed, anything from seals to whales, or even walruses may pop up to the surface to say hello.
Lunch, hot drinks, and snacks will be served on board as you cruise the waters and you'll learn more about the island's many inhabitants. Hop aboard and join the experience!
