Discover the stunning mountainous landscapes of Norway on this guided Nærøyfjord boat cruise to Flåm and scenic train rides to Myrdal and back to Bergen!

This tour begins in Bergen, a picturesque city located on the west coast of Norway, known for its stunning natural surroundings, including fjords and mountains. On this full-day guided sightseeing tour from Bergen, you'll visit some of Western Norway's most popular towns and sites, including Flåm, Myrdal and the Nærøyfjord.

The guided tour from Bergen begins at the starting point, where you'll be greeted by your knowledgeable guide. You'll board a premium bus and set off driving towards Gudvangen, a small village located at the head of the Nærøyfjord. Along the way, you'll stop at the beautiful Tvinde Waterfall and the famous Stalheim Viewpoint, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Nærøydalen Valley.

Upon arrival at the Gudvangen Marina, you'll board the vessel 'The Future of the Fjords' for your Nærøyfjord cruise to Flåm. This electric ship runs so smoothly and quietly that you will easily immerse yourself in nature and the tranquillity it brings. The Nærøyfjord is a branch of the larger Sognefjord and is often considered one of the most spectacular fjords in the world. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005, the combination of stunning natural beauty, steep landscapes, and cultural importance makes Nærøyfjord a must-see destination.

Once you've disembarked in the charming village of Flåm, you'll have free time to explore, try some delicious local cuisine, or visit the Railway Museum. Then, it's time to set off on the next part of your journey by boarding the train to Myrdal, one of the steepest railway lines in the world. During this 1-hour voyage, you'll take in the mountainous panorama while also getting a chance to see the magnificent Kjosfossen Waterfall.

You'll arrive at Myrdal, a remote mountain station located 866 metres (2,841 feet) above sea level, surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery, including mountains and waterfalls. At Myrdal, you'll change lines and take the train to Voss. Then, you'll board a bus and begin the return journey to Bergen. Along the way, you'll enjoy views of Voss Town and Vangsvatnet Lake, before arriving back at the starting point in Bergen.

The fjord tour was incredible! Beautiful landscapes, and the boat was very quiet since it's electric. The train ride was also lovely. We enjoyed the whole tour, absolutely worth it.
