On arrival at Reykjavik domestic airport, you'll meet your pilot who will accompany you on this helicopter flight over Reykjavik, landing on a mountain peak. Once the safety instructions have been given, you'll set off on your 50-minute adventure in the air aboard an AS350 B2 Ecureuil helicopter with seating for 5 passengers or an Airbus EC130 with 6 seats.

You'll be able to admire the Icelandic capital, a beautiful city much loved by tourists! Try to see the unmissable Hallgrímskirkja and the coastal plains from the air...

You'll set foot on a summit and have the opportunity to refresh yourself with a tasting of sparkling wine in this idyllic setting! Walk on the fresh snow and enjoy this special moment for 20 to 30 minutes. You'll then head back to the air base, while admiring the dormant crater of the Skjaldbreiðu volcano, the Þingvellir national park and the city of Reykjavik... Practical information

Total duration 30-50 minutes. 15-20 minute guided helicopter flight and a 20-30 minute landing on a mountaintop.

Activity requirements

Children must be accompanied by an adult

Lap-held children under 1 y/o free of charge.

The weight limit is 120 kg per passenger. This will ensure that everyone on the tour has a comfortable and safe ride! Any passengers over 120 kg / 265 lbs / 19 stone are required to pay for 1.5 seats in the helicopter.

Special terms

Departure times subject to confirmation: morning departures vary from 08:00 to 13:00, and evening departures from 13:00 to 20:00.

All flight times to be determined by instructor due to weather forecasting.

Ursprünglich hatten wir einen Flug mit Gletscherlandung gebucht. Bedingt durch sehr starken Wind konnte diese leider nicht durchgeführt werden. Als Alternative sind wir über den Vulkan geflogen und konnten atemberaubende Eindrücke sammeln.
