Dare to discover freediving in Bastia, an incredible aquatic discipline that allows you to concentrate on yourself while experiencing unique new sensations!
Freediving is a sport with a host of benefits that continues to grow in popularity, with participants coming away from their session with a pleasant feeling of well-being. Indeed, this aquatic activity allows you to let go thanks to the concentration it requires, but also to the emotions it generates in front of the water pressure that increases as you descend, the lack of oxygen that slows your heart rate, and so on. So it is certain that if you decide to discover freediving in Bastia alongside the professional instructors at Corsica Sub, you will want to try it again, and maybe even take an advanced freediving lesson!
Open to people who have already tried freediving as well as those who have never tried it before, this introduction to freediving in Bastia will introduce you to the essential basics of the practice (compensation, breath control, etc.) before allowing you to put what you have learnt into practice during a 1 to 1.5-hour freediving session off the coast of Bastia. From the boat, you will have breathtaking views of the town and its citadel, providing a superb backdrop for your activity. You will take to the water in groups of no more than 4 students per cable and instructor, which is ideal for personalised supervision: the instructor will take you down the cable one by one, giving you advice each time you come up to help you improve. Don't expect to be looking for performance, but rather to discover the sport and its extraordinary world!
Discovering freediving in Bastia with Corsica Sub will offer you an enriching experience that will amaze you, allowing you to rediscover yourself. And who knows, maybe you will be lucky enough to meet the local marine fauna underwater during your session!
