Tromsø es una animada ciudad situada en el norte de Noruega. Esta actividad tiene lugar en Kvaløya, una hermosa isla cercana a Tromsø. La zona está rodeada de impresionantes paisajes naturales. Debido a su proximidad al Círculo Polar Ártico, es también uno de los mejores lugares del mundo para contemplar la impresionante aurora boreal.

La aventura comienza en el punto de partida en Tromsø, donde le recogerá un guía experimentado. Desde allí, disfrutará de un viaje panorámico de 25 minutos hasta la isla de Kvaløya, donde se encuentra el campamento de huskys. En las perreras viven 200 perros y cachorros de Alaskan Husky. En el campamento, visitará el patio de los perros y conocerá a los adorables y cariñosos huskies. Tendrá tiempo para jugar e interactuar con los perros mientras aprende más sobre la raza.

Después de conocer a los perros, se instalará alrededor de una hoguera. Mientras espera a que aparezca la aurora boreal, le servirán una deliciosa comida en una acogedora cabaña Gamme, que consistirá en bacalao (un plato de pescado tradicional noruego con raíces portuguesas elaborado con productos regionales), un postre de tarta de chocolate, café y té. Si tiene suerte, la increíble Aurora Boreal aparecerá en el cielo nocturno. Contemple la increíble danza de colores mientras escucha las historias y mitos sobre este fenómeno natural. Después, el guía le llevará de vuelta al punto de partida en Tromsø.

What an amazing time my huskies and I had. First….The huskies all looked happy, those that came out for a fuss were keen to get up close and personal for cuddles. It was well organised, staff were super friendly and you weren’t rushed in the fussing of the dogs. They gave an informative talk about the huskies, which was good. Then while fussing the huskies we were lucky enough to see the lights, which were just beautiful. I would advise wearing the suits provided to keep your clothes clean and dog smell free 😁. The chocolate cake was delicious. I didn’t have the soup though my husband said it was good. The veggie option could do with a rethink, while what was offered was ok (quinoa salad) a warming veg stew would have been better for the event. The staff were great fab time was sad to go.

It was a fantastic experience in multiple aspects! First, the dogs - there were so many huskies to pet and many of them were very interested in hanging out with the humans. We got to meet the pups and teenagers as well, who were very energetic. Second, the lights - while it is advertised as a "chance" of seeing the lights, the day we went was apparently one of the best days for the northern lights and we had some incredible lights! They were the second best we had seen during the trip and it was an amazing experience watching them and the stars, with the dogs howling in the background. Lastly, the food - it was quite the hearty meal in their very cozy cabin. There was an indoor fire going on and the soup served with bread was delicious, not to forget the fantastic chocolate cake.

Absolutely amazing experience first got to meet the younger pups then went to meet the other huskies and got one on one time with them then we were lucky enough to see the northern lights whilst the huskies decided to all howl. It was a surreal moment and one I will never forget
