The staff were absolutely amazing they were so friendly and chatty and they gave us information on the huskies and the dish that they served and history. The dinner was incredible my partner even had seconds!
excellent
Our guides were friendly and helpful
wonderful team and really great instructors, with a team that was very knowledgeable and clearly loved what they were doing. dogs were clearly very happy and treated very well. we were picked up from the pickup spot exactly on time.
Very professional and well organised. Very friendly and obviously love their job as do the dogs!
Very organised, professionally run. 200 Husky's. All friendly we loved having time with the dogs after the sledge ride ( which was brilliant)
From beginning to finish I enjoyed a lot. First they took me around my hotel and my journey started. When i was there my guide was already waiting for me. First of all they took me my private camp room and after that we did a little tour in that area. I learned a lot of things about puppies. Lot of friendly and welcoming dogs. I did not want to leave from there. After that me, my guide and one dog we started snowshoeing around the place. I am a muslim guy and it was my last day of Ramadan and i opened my fast over there with my guide and the dog which is she was became my best friend :) After that we walked back all the way down to camp area. I had my Bacalao soup (first time in my life) and they served me a yummy chocolate cake. After that i went to my room around 23:00pm. Overnight I could not sleep and i walked outside. It was my lucky day cause I get chance to see Northern Lights around 1:10am in the morning. I did not want to leave that area. It was a dream night. After that night next morning I had my breakfast around 9:30 am in the morning. Around 10:30 they gave us information about the dog sledding. We had 45 minutes dog sledding around the area. This was my another best time in there. After that they gave us information about the dogs and we had chance to cuddle them, play with them quite a 1 hour. After that we had our lunch. Reindeer soup and cake. So i definitely recommend everyone to do this activity. From beginning to end it was absolutely breathtaking. All of the staff was kind and friendly. I just want to say a big thanks for all of their hard work. And a lot of thanks to my Italian guide. You guys doing amazing job. Looking forward to seeing you again.
we stayed overnight in the camp, everything was very clean and hygienic food good good & tastey and more than enough
Excellent
The instructor was very enthusiastic and explained all about the dogs and their routines and the site in general
Excellent !
Booking the activity took forever with manawa bc trying to get a confirmation took days. For what we paid to clamp, we should have been allowed into the hut earlier. There were several trees blocking our window view and it wasn’t worth the big price we paid. The evening fish soup was terrible.
See above
The centre is a twenty-five minute bus ride from Trsø. It is well organised and provides boots and warm overalls for those who would like to use them. Our sled was driven by a friendly young lady, who introduced us to each of the huskies pulling us by name and told us something about each animal. She obviously was very involved in their everyday care and loved the dogs very much. She was very willing to take photos if us in the sled and with the huskies.
Instructors were very friendly and clearly good at their job. They were really good at making sure that we were dressed appropriately with boots, suit and goggles. It was so nice that they looked after you even after the driving had finished, making sure that we had enough to eat and drink. I really enjoyed the meet the dogs experience afterwards. Our guide Leo was so knowledgeable about the breed and answered our million questions really well.
They were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their jobs. The fact that they can remember the names of 300 dogs is a testament to their dedication!
Bien organisé. A l'heure. Programme bien calé. Intervenants pédagogues et pro.
nice welcome, explanations and services (gear and lunch)
..
Helpful, friendly, interesting and very well organised

Well organized
There are several dog-sledding experiences, but this one is clearly the best. The dogs are clearly loved, well-trained, and well-cared for by staff who stay on the premises. You'll learn so much about what makes a good team as the owner of the facility is also a competitive racer who has dedicated herself to the sport. The activity was also immaculately organized. We never wondered where we were going or doing for a moment. Truly, the highlight of our trip.
Very knowledgeable, nice people who know a lot about Alaskan Husky.
organisation impeccable
Well organised!!
The guide was really great. She was able to help us all, gave great advice and overall very friendly and definitely knew what she was about.

The staff were knowledge and helpful. They guided us from the very begining when we met in the bus, during the sledding, and the retuning from the site. The center is a great place to visit!

They have a lot of knowledge about the Aurora and it was really interresting to listen to them. I think I spent a great time with these kind souls.
nice to see that everyone who worked there had so much love for the dogs. Everything is thought about to take the best possible care of the dogs. And then to see them run with such joy and passion is just amazing.

Bien accueilli

Sehr freundlich und kompetent
Great. All the staff were so well informed on the huskies, giving us loads of info about them and making sure they were as looked after as us! They were also so friendly and helped take pictures for the northern lights and give us some extra info about them and Tromso. We were very well looked after.

Very informative! Not just about the dogs or tours, but the guides (Iris and Andy) had a ton of patience answering all our questions about the country, region, language...all you could think off.
Had a great time, everything was provided for, lots of respect for the team and all who participate in taking care of the dogs.
Professional and friendly.
The owner is a renowned dog sledder, and it shows in the quality of care for and pride in these dogs. She has an interesting story of her own.
The instructors were very friendly and attentive.

Tromso Wilderness Center
Very professional and so knowledgeable
Anna was great, passionate and adaptive to everyone's physical condition. We stopped for photos when the group decided, and she explained us many things about taking care of the huskies. 3 teenage huskies went with us during the activity, which was also great, and maybe different from other kind of snowshoeing stroll.
Our instructor was really nice and careful to make sure everyone did well during the sled ride.
Super nice, explained everything. So caring.
He was a kiwi, whats not to like about him. Chris was great.
Great trip on a very scenic route; the tour guides were knowledge and approachable. The dogs were friendly and playful and the fish soup afterwards was fantastic.

He teached us to enjoy at 100% this experiencie
All the crew were very helpful and friendly - on the bus, giving out the clothing and serving coffee and stew in the hut. Our musher was great and told us about his team of dogs which was very interesting.
These guys really know their trade. With both the handling of the dog teams and their knowledge of the mountains. There appeared a very good awareness of the physical and mental limits of us novice handlers which was very much appreciated.
Our instructor was very relaxed and made sure everyone was able to keep up. Told some nice things about the area and our second guide ‘Coppen’ the husky was a very pleasant surprise
Super ! Très explicatif et pédagogue

Great crew of people there, it is obvious they love what they are doing which made it a great experience.
