Close to Perpignan, the small town of Céret is located at the foot of the Pyrenean mountains. Its geographical situation makes Céret the home of many canyons. Offering a variety of difficulty levels and panoramas, the canyons of the Pyrenees-Orientales are accessible to everyone whether you are a sportsman or an amateur!

Originally from Haute Savoie, Fredéric Pascal, founder of Tendances du Sud, developed a passion for mountain sports from an early age, particularly caving, mountaineering and climbing. In 1989, Fredéric discovered the Catalan canyons. Ten years later, he made canyoning and climbing his profession. With two state diplomas in climbing and canyoning, Fredéric is a specialist in the canyons of the Pyrénées-Orientales. Committed to improving the safety of his clients, Fredéric has been involved in many cliffs, sites, boulders and canyons in the Eastern Pyrenees.

Jeff was an amazing guide. He really checked up on my skill level let me climb according to my level. I always felt safe and managed to onsight 7 different routes in one day. Which literally never happened to me before during lead climbing. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to get great guiding in the Marseille region.
