Parpalandia is a family-owned and the owner is as local as a person can be. He was born in Rovaniemi and nowadays he actually lives in Parpalandia. So chances are high that you will meet him when you visit Parpalandia.

Parpalandia is located close to Rovaniemi, but far away enough so our visitors can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, unspoiled nature, and because of very low light pollution also northern lights in the night.

Parpalandia has begun its operations as a husky farm only. Nowadays, Parpalandia is still a husky farm, but now you can enjoy many more fun activities with us. We are open every day of the year, so you can enjoy both summer and winter activities in Parpalandia.

We have two cottages in Parplandia. Our accommodation is perfect for those looking for accommodation outside of the city to enjoy their holiday in Lapland. It is also a great option for groups and dog lovers because we are still a husky farm.

The providers where nice, but we couldn't help but feel like just another batch of tourists. There is not really any extra communication. It's not a deal breaker but still, for the amount of money, you'd expect a warmer welcome.
