Anoiaballons takes its name from Anoia the Catalan region where the hot air balloons started to fly in Spain, this was influenced by the fact that Ultramagic the worldwide famous manufactures of hot air balloons is located in the region of Igualada.

The city of Anoia is also well-known thanks to the annually hot air balloons EBF Festival

The chief of operations Jordi Rodríguez has plenty of experience in the hot air balloons industry. He worked for more than 15 years in Ultramagic, which gave him plenty of knowledge regarding manufacturing wafers, welding metal structures, repairing burners and doing all the tasks related to a maintenance technician position.

Now, he does technical inspections for companies all around the world. Jordi has plenty of flight hours and has worked for the largest air balloon company in France, FanceMontgolfieres.
