Founded in 2006, Luleå Adventures is an outdoor adventure specialist based in Swedish Lapland. Offering family-friendly experiences during both summer and winter, their signature dog sledding excursion has become their calling card - offering guests a chance to experience driving their own team of huskies in the Taiga.

Based on the outskirts of Lulea - the northernmost county in Sweden, this is the perfect place to experience the Northern Lights! The team at Luleå Adventures offer a selection of guided snowshoeing and dog sledding safaris that are perfect for viewing the Aurora Borealis in Swedish Lapland.

Their base in the arctic taiga (boreal forest or snow forest) offers a true winter wonderland - with a traditional wood cabin, local cuisine and a family-run sense of hospitality! The ideal way to experience true Swedish living, their team of lead mushers are local to the area and know the forest as well as the dogs they care for - allowing adventurous beginners to explore this challenging winter terrain with them.

Great for kids, too, Luleå Adventures also provides dog sledging experiences - allowing you the chance to sit back and enjoy the views whilst your experienced musher navigates this unique snowy wonderland!

Our instructor Kristofer was really nice. Father was nice. The staff members were also lovely. Explained things really wel. Made great effort to make it a memorable experience 😃. You can see he and the others has a real passion for the dogs. Overall very welcoming.

C’est un monsieur vraiment très gentil et professionnel. Une petite ferme où il travaille en famille les parents avec le fils si vous voulez avoir une expérience des plus authentique en Suède, c’est bien dans cette ferme qu’il faut aller car c’est vraiment un lieu magique.
