Futurismo Ltd. was created in 1990 by Mr. Ruben Rodrigues. Their most famous activity, the whale and dolphin watching tours, began on the north coast of São Miguel Island in 1996 and later expanded to Pico Island and the south coast of São Miguel where it now continues.

Over the years they have acquired several boats, with the latest addition to their fleet being their catamaran “Cetus” in 2010. In 2006 Futurismo expanded its touristic activities to land to include jeep tours, walking tours, van tours, and later bike tours. In 2011 the company was branded as “Futurismo Azores Adventures” and they are now the largest active tourism company in the Azores that offer a variety of packages of sea and land activities throughout the Azores archipelago.

Una verdadera maravilla , simpatica , instructiva y atenta con todos los visitantes. Con gran conocimiento sobre la biologia marina y grandes dotes para transmitir sus conocimientos de manera amena y ademas en multiples idiomas: ingles, portugues, italiano, frances .... Solo falto que tambien hablara español, pero en realidad se le entendia perfectamente en ingles.

Los biólogos y guías fueron muy profesionales. Explicaron en todo momento las especies y su problemática y antes nos dieron instrucciones precisas sobre la seguridad en el barco.
