SUP Paradise Ibiza

Ruben Marti heard the ocean's call at a young age since then he's been involved with it in many ways. Founding SUP Paradise Ibiza was a consequence of his love for the sea.

Ruben was 6 years old when he had his first trips as a skipper, from that date on, he was part of the maritime world. Involved in everything from sailing to boat restoration, passing through water sports, Ruben's destiny has been tied to the sea. SUP Paradise Ibiza's and the lives of those that are part of it, is closely linked to the sea and the island.

At age 14, Ruben began sailing through Ibiza on board of the first he restored. When he was 20 years old, he became a professional and began to work repairing and giving maintenance to all kind of boats, until finally finding a job as a kipper on luxury boats.

In 2000, he bought at a damaged boat and spent several years restoring it with the idea of developing a Stand-Up Paddle project, a sport that hadn't yet become popular in Spain. Finally, he founded Stand Up Paddle in Ibiza and became the first to catch a wave on the island.

Little by little, the company has spread its passion and excitement for this activity while proving visitors with an experience that's so much more than just paddling
