Club de Paiva was created in 2003 by locals as a small outdoor activities providers. Today, the company has become one of the most important adventure sports providers in the Paiva River in the Arouca region of Portugal.

Their success is a consequence of a professional approach towards management together with a laid back and fun vibe has spread across the team of experienced monitors. This approach has also influences their clients creating a safe and relaxed environment in their activities!

All of the members of Clube do Paiva are locals with significant river experience. Each of the guides over 10 years of experience in whitewater sports on the Paiva River and has been certified by the International Rafting Federation. Also, the fact they are locals allows you to feel safe on the hands of guides that know the area like the back of their hand!

Clube do Paiva <[email protected]> was the best! Rafael was extremely responsive to coordinate the details of the activity with, and even let us adjust the time slightly a day prior, to meet our unexpected schedule changes. The two instructors/guides were incredible: very professional, friendly, funny, safe, and enjoyable to hang out with. They took hundreds of digital photos and we received these via e-mail a few days later. All in all this was the highlight of our trip and I can't recommend it enough!

About Ribeira de Vessadas canyon near Arouca.
The instructor was super. He had no rush, we could take our own time and moments to enjoy! Extra great point is the foto's he took of us and is sending us!
