What was once a strategic lookout post for commercial whaling, today the island of Pico home to the Aqua Azores team is one of the best places in the archipelago to see over 27 different varieties of cetacean including Sperm whale, Short-finned Pilot Whale, Risso’s Dolphin, Bottlenose Dolphin, Striped Dolphin, Atlantic Spotted Dolphin & Common Dolphin.
