Tura'i Mataare Tahiti Surf School is the perfect place to learn to surf and test your skills on the famous Tahitian waves.

Olivier Napias has been practicing surfing since he was 12 : with many years of experience under his belt, he knows exactly how to motivate his students and what methods are the most effective.

Self-confessed surf addict, Olivier enjoys many things about surfing, but the things he loves the best are:
- Being in the water
- The challenge linked to the different wave/water conditions
- Surfing the waves on a board
- But most of all, the adrenaline rush that comes with practicing an extreme sport!

The surf school Tura’i Mataare opened its doors in 1995, allowing Olivier to share his passion for surfing with the rest of the world. Olivier is the only 2nd degree BEES of the island of Tahiti and he teaches all over the island, notably the various barrier reef spots of the west coast. Olivier uses a boat to access surf locations far from the shore.
