SURF UP Martinique

Surf Up Martinique is a surf school based in Tartane, a small fishing village on the Caravelle peninsula, in the immediate vicinity of one of the best surfing spots on the island: Surfer's beach.

The waves of the Surfer's beach are ideal for learning to surf. With Surf Up, you will benefit from a surfing lesson in optimal safety conditions. Multi-slide school, it offers also : foil surf, wing foil, stand up paddle and bodyboard.

Surf Up was created by Vanessa Perina, a surfer with several years of experience, especially in longboarding, with some great results in competitions such as a 1st place at the French Longboard Cup in 2013, or a 5th place at the European Championships in 2007 (not forgetting of course numerous championship titles in Martinique).

Vanessa is surrounded by a team of top instructors. Their pedagogy and their listening personality will help you to progress quickly and in a good atmosphere!

The safety rules relating to the marine environment and surfing are explained at the beginning of each lesson, the location of which will be chosen according to the sea conditions. Rest assured, if the ocean is impassable, surf lessons are postponed or cancelled.

The school's instructors hold the National Safety and Water Rescue Certificate and always carry a first aid bag and a mobile phone on the beach.
