La Vague Basque has been awarded the Ecole Française de Surf label, guaranteeing you the best possible lessons! You'll be supervised by qualified instructors offering surf, bodyboard and stand-up paddle lessons and courses on the legendary Côte des Basques beach in Biarritz. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced surfer, David and his team will share their experience and passion for surfing with you.

David Quérol and Christophe Moraiz founded La Vague Basque surf club on the Milady beach in Biarritz in 1997. The aim of the club is to train young people from Biarritz in introductory and advanced surfing. In the early days, the surf club operated on the Milady and Marbella beaches. Since 2003, the school has been offering surf lessons on an exceptional site, the Côte des Basques beach.
