The team at the Riva Rafting Center has worked for many years on and around the Zrmanja River, an area that has a wealth of potential tourist destinations and activities. The headquarters is located directly on the Zrmanja River in Kruševo, near the city of Obrovac, and is strategically positioned at a crossroads between Croatia’s National Parks.

The Riva Rafting Centar was one of the first companies in Croatia to deal with the concept, organization, and execution of extreme sport for groups and individual travellers.

Besides the standard offer of activities, sports, and adventure and rural programs, the company is continuously expanding, establishing and organising new sporting events in order to establish a regional market for tourism in the Zadar hinterland.

The expert team is constantly expanding their programs by innovating new forms of tourism and adventure in the Zrmanja, Krupa, and Krnjeza River canyons, on the southern slopes of nearby Velebit Mountain, on the seaside and in the underground caves this region is known for.

Riva Rafting Centar is the leading company for rural tourism activities and adventure holidays in Zadar County and Croatia as a whole. Because of their extensive knowledge of the region’s difficult terrain and unique wildlife, the company was contracted as a wilderness consultant for the Discovery Channel adventure series “Man, Woman, Wild“.

All instructors we came in contact with were all incredibly nice, easy to talk to, and would provide helpful tips and advice if you knew to the sport and needed assistance.

The instructors just let you get on with it. They assited when necessary we felt very safe in there hands. Not many people could of persuaded me that going over a waterfall on my first ever Kayak outing was a good idea but i was assured it was safe and it was. Some people may like a little more instruction but for us it was perfect.
