Vincent guides his students by sharing his skiing techniques; skills that he’s acquired over many years of practice. He loves nothing more than teaching like-minded people how to analyse the mountain slopes and get the best out of each session.
After competing as an FIS Racer for many years, Vincent Giraud fell in love with the mountains and its wide open space. The landscapes and the unpredictability of the snow and weather conditions represented freedom for him; freedom of never having to set the same routine, of always venturing out further and deeper into his beloved mountains.
For over 25 years, he has been focusing on backcountry skiing, which tallies up to about 20,000 hours spent performing this thrilling sport. Vincent deeply believes that the key to having fun is practicing safely, a top priority for him.
He’s passionate about travelling and exploring, every winter he helps others discover what he has the privilege of calling his job. In France he takes people out to Espace Killy, Tarentaise, Beaufortain and abroad he travels to Italy and Norway.
