Sud Rafting was created in 2003 and specialises in hydrospeed, rafting and canyoning. Located an hour from Perpignan and Carcassone and 2 hours from Toulouse and Montpellier, the water sports centre is accessible for all those who want to add a dose of adventure to their holiday/weekend break.

All excursions can be conducted in French, English, Spanish and Catalan.

About Canorafting down the Aude River from Axat.
Jean Pierre en Maya waren sociaal en hielpen elke keer weer als wij vastliepen of omsloegen. Bij moeilijkere stukken gaven ze duidelijke instructies en waren ze alert. Op rustige stukken kregen we teamopdrachten, waardoor we zelfsnog aan teambuilding deden.

Our instructor, Seb, made it so much fun, encouraging the boys to jump out of the boat at times into the calm stretches of the river and drift downstream for a bit.

Instructions in English were appreciated but unfortunately at one point we were confused and ended up in the water in a dangerous situation. Not being fluent French speakers, I cannot complain too much but what we thought was a capsize exercise was not, and we were in a sticky situation.
