Rando Observation

Originally from the Pyrenees, Mathias is a passionate naturalist who qualified as a mountain leader in 2003. Specialising in wildlife observation, he leads ornithological outings and in 2005 published a book on Alpine birds entitled Quelques oiseaux de nos montagnes (Some birds of our mountains), published by Actes Sud. Since then, he has been offering hikes and outings in small groups to explore nature in the Giffre valley in Haute-Savoie.

Mathias leads group outings for families, associations and schools, covering topics such as birds, mountain wildlife, life cycles, plants and mountain orientation. With a walk in the forest or a more sporting adventure at altitude, Mathias invites you to discover the richness of wildlife through his experiences in the field.
