Hike to the New Volcano Tajogaite of Cumbre Vieja in La Palma

Please allow around 4 hours for the whole experience.

• Meeting with the guide in front of the El Paso tourist office 10 minutes before the start of the activity
• Taxi transfer to the start of the hike at the Mirador Astronómico del Llano del Jable (approx. 15-minute drive)
• Briefing on the course of the activity
• Departure for a 3.5-hour hike to the Tajogaite volcano: a 7 km circular route with an ascent of 370 metres, during which you will enjoy a few breaks during which the guide will provide you with information about the site and its environment
• Return to the starting point of the hike and transfer by taxi to El Paso (about 15-minute drive) where you will end the activity

Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity as the route is not suitable for people who are not used to walking.

All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the departure time.

A minimum number of 4 participants is required to run this activity.

This activity is not accessible to people with reduced mobility and is not recommended for people who are pregnant, elderly and/or have hip and/or knee problems.

Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
