Caving in the Arva-Claire Cave at Méjannes-le-Clap, Gard

Please plan to spend a total of 3.5 hours on site.

• Reception in the car park of the Méjannes-le-Clap tourist office
• Introduction to the instructor and the course of the activity
• Journey to the Arva-Claire Cave in your own vehicle, following the guide (a 5 to 10-minute drive)
• Equipment with overall and safety equipment
• Approach walk to the cave (less than 5 minutes)
• Safety briefing
• Enter the cave for 2 hours of caving, combining the discovery of the underground world with rope techniques (a 10-metre abseil, a few via-corda sections and 2 zip lines)
• Walk back to the vehicles (less than 5 minutes), de-equipment, debriefing and end of the activity

Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity (for example, being able to hike for half a day).

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people or people with motor disabilities.

Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
