Practical information
Discover caving in the Arva-Claire Cave for 2 hours: you will follow a course including a 10-metre abseil, a few via-corda sections and 2 zip lines.
Please plan to spend a total of 3.5 hours on site.
- Reception in the car park of the Méjannes-le-Clap tourist office
- Introduction to the instructor and the course of the activity
- Journey to the Arva-Claire Cave in your own vehicle, following the guide (a 5 to 10-minute drive)
- Equipment with overall and safety equipment
- Approach walk to the cave (less than 5 minutes)
- Safety briefing
- Enter the cave for 2 hours of caving, combining the discovery of the underground world with rope techniques (a 10-metre abseil, a few via-corda sections and 2 zip lines)
- Walk back to the vehicles (less than 5 minutes), de-equipment, debriefing and end of the activity
Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity (for example, being able to hike for half a day).
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people or people with motor disabilities.
