Canoeing Down the Moustique River in Guadeloupe from Sainte-Rose

Please allow around 4.5 hours in total to spend on site.

• Reception at the entrance to La kassaverie de Sainte-Rose
• Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
• Distribution of inflatable canoe equipment (life jackets, paddles, etc.)
• Departure for a 3-hour canoe tour down the Moustique River through the mangrove swamps
• Return to La kassaverie de Sainte-Rose at around 12.30 p.m.
• Equipment storage
• Debriefing of the activity over a meal of salty and sweet cassava cakes, served with fresh juice
• At around 1.15 p.m., educational tour of the La kassaverie de Sainte-Rose farm (explanations of cassava growing, etc.)
• End of the activity around 2 p.m.

Maximum weight: 242 lbs / 110 kg

All participants need to be able to swim at least 25 metres, know how to immerse themselves and be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people, people with disabilities or the elderly.

Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
