Practical information
Snorkelling excursion from Santa Maria in Cape Verde. You'll be transported to the snorkelling site by zodiac for around 40 minutes of snorkelling to explore a vibrant reef and a small wreck.
- 16 participants per group max.
Please allow 2 hours in total for this activity, including 40 minutes of snorkelling.
- Transfer from your hotel/accommodation at 2pm.
- Arrival at the dive centre.
- Administrative formalities.
- Testing the equipment.
- Operational briefing.
- Board the boat and travel to the snorkelling site.
- Snorkelling excursion from the reef to the wreck.
- The guide leads the snorkelling excursion from the water and the skipper remains on the boat (side by side with the group, 10 metres apart).
- Return to the dive centre and then to your hotel/accommodation.
You need to be able to swim to take part in this activity.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult. If they are not, they must show parental authorisation to take part.
Only snorkellers are allowed on the boat. Accompanying persons are not permitted.

The transfer service is only available from the city of Santa Maria. Please be ready 5 minutes in advance for departure.
Participants who wear glasses can bring their own mask adapted to their eyesight. Alternatively, ask your optician if you would like to wear contact lenses during the activity.
Pregnant women and people with mental or physical disabilities are not allowed to take part in this activity.
Pets are not allowed on site.
