Vessadas River Discovery Canyon from Arouca

Practical information

Discovery descent of the Vessadas River Canyon from Arouca for around 3 hours, with the following on the programme:

Course of events

Please plan to spend half a day on site.

Meeting with the guide at the meeting point in Arouca 15 minutes before the start of the activity
Briefing on the activity
Drive with the guide to the canyon (approx. a 25-minute drive)
Distribution of canyoning equipment (wetsuit, helmet, etc.)
Briefing on the safety instructions
5-minute walk to the start of the canyon
Departure for approximately 3 hours of canyoning in the Vessadas River
At the end of the tour, 10 minutes walk back to the vehicles
Return of the equipment and end of the activity
If you opted for the lunch option (€25 supplement) when booking, you will enjoy a meal in a local restaurant (roast veal from Arouquesa with the old convent pastry as dessert)

Maximum weight: 242 lbs / 110 kg

You don't need to be able to swim to take part in this activity.

All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time.

A minimum of 2 participants is required to run this activity.
