Canyoning Down the Vessadas River in Arouca, near Porto

The Vessadas River Canyon in Arouca is around 25 minutes' drive from the town centre, near the village of Manhouce, in the heart of the region's mountains. It only takes a 5-minute walk to reach the starting point, which takes around 3 hours to complete. On the way down the canyon, you will have the pleasure of sliding down natural slides, making 2 jumps (optional) 2 to 3 metres high, and abseiling (also optional) up to 3 metres high, each equipped with all the necessary gear, including a wetsuit to keep you warm in water that is generally between 12 and 13°C. All under the supervision of an experienced instructor, who will ensure your safety and advise you on how to tackle the various obstacles in the Vessadas River Canyon.
