Canyoning Down the Vessadas River in Arouca, near Porto

Please allow around 8.5 hours in total.

• Pick-up at your hotel in the centre of Porto (8 a.m.) or the centre of Porto at Largo Actor Dias (8.30 a.m.), depending on your choice
• Transfer by van to Arouca (approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes) where you will meet the guide
• Briefing on the activity
• Transfer to the canyon (approx. a 25-minute drive)
• Distribution of canyoning equipment (wetsuit, helmet, etc.)
• Briefing on the safety instructions
• 5-minute walk to the start of the canyon
• Departure for approximately 3 hours of canyoning in the Vessadas River
• At the end of the tour, 10 minutes walk back to the vehicles
• Return of the equipment and transfer to Arouca for lunch (about 1.5 hours of free time)
• If you opted for the lunch option (€25 supplement) when booking, you will enjoy a meal in a local restaurant (roast veal from Arouquesa)
• Once you have finished your meal, you will head to the Doces Conventuais de Arouca to enjoy a dessert: the ancient Conventual Pastry
• Return journey to Porto (approx. 1 hour) and drop-off at your pick-up point at around 5 p.m.

You don't need to be able to swim to take part in this activity.

All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time.

A minimum of 2 participants is required to run this activity.

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people or people with reduced mobility.
