Practical information

A 2-hour stargazing activity in Tenerife's Teide National Park with a professional to learn about the science, history and mythology of the sky.

  • Small group of 15 participants maximum.
Course of events

Please allow 2 hours 30 minutes in total for this activity, including 2 hours of stargazing.

  • Meet your professional guide.
  • Brief summary of the experience.
  • Explanation of the movements of the celestial vault and some historical details about how mankind began to calculate time by studying the stars (5 to 10 minutes).
  • Stargazing with a telescope and top-of-the-range astronomical equipment (90 minutes).
  • Photo session (20 minutes).
  • Debriefing and end of activity.
Activity requirements

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

The meeting time for this activity is given as a guideline and the meeting will take place 40 minutes before sunset : please contact the instructor once your booking has been confirmed.
