Course of events

DAY 1

- Arrival at the meeting point in Randsverk (please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time)

- Meet your experienced instructor/guide

- Receive your winter gear, including a thermal suit, a hat, gloves, and winter boots

- Safety and itinerary briefing

- Pack your belongings and equipment on the dog sled

- Meet your adorable husky team

- Introduction to dog sledding and dog sled driving techniques

- The adventure begins!

- 6 km (3.7 miles) of dog sledding through the forest

- 3 km (1.8 miles) uphill

- Arrival in Jotunheimen National Park

- Break

- Campfire lunch

- The adventure continues!

- Search for the best spot to pitch the tents

- Make camp and set up tents

- Feed the huskies dinner

- Campfire dinner

- Tranquil evening under the stars in a cosy tent

DAY 2

- Feed the huskies breakfast

- Breakfast

- Pack up the camp and dog sleds

- Head higher into the mountains

- Scenic mountain hike

- Campfire lunch

- Return to the original departure point in Randsverk

- Thank and say goodbye to your four-legged friends

- Snack and trip summary

Activity requirements

Please be advised that this activity is not suitable for those with health concerns or pregnant people.

In addition, every participant on this excursion drives their own dog sled, there are no passengers.

Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the departure time.

If you have any dietary restrictions, please list them when booking.

Since the Northern Lights are an unpredictable natural phenomenon, their presence is never guaranteed.

Please note that this tour's itinerary is based on the weather conditions of the day and that overnight accommodations are in a tent.

On uphill segments, participants will have to help push the dog sled.
