Discover the world of a pearl farm, a unique adventure around the black pearl of Tahiti, on the magnificent motu of Taufari'i, in Bora Bora!
In this paradise-like setting, dive (snorkel) with your guide in search of pearl oysters in order to reel one in and extract the precious Tahitian black pearl inside. Once back on the motu of Taufari'i, your guide will teach you the techniques for extracting some of the most famous pearls in the world... all accompanied by a tasting of seasonal fruits, to the sound of ukuleles.
Finally, to take home as many memories as possible of this unique experience in Bora Bora: a photo session is organised with your guide and captain, in the magnificent setting of the motu Taufari'i, with the turquoise sea and the view of the famous Mount Otemanu in the background! Of course, as well as this souvenir photo, you'll leave with the Tahitian black pearl found in the oyster you chose and brought up earlier... depending on your preference, in a velvet pouch or in a transparent vial, with white Bora Bora sand.

Picking up customers at strategic points (see proposals in "meeting point"): approx. 30-minute journey
Transfer by water shuttle to the activity site on motu Taufari'i
Welcome customers to the motu Taufari'i site, where they will be shown how a black pearl is made and explained to them
Shuttle service (5-minute journey)
Welcome to a snorkelling site, where you can discover the pearl oyster beds (located near a coral garden to visit).
Selection of an oyster to be opened once back on the motu (duration: 30 minutes)
Return by boat to motu Taufari'i (5-minute journey), where you can sample fresh seasonal fruit and cold drinks (water, soft drinks, beer) to the sound of ukuleles.
The guide will demonstrate how to open oysters that have previously been reeled in, and you will discover the black pearl.

Customers can choose to take their pearl home in a velvet pouch or a transparent vial with white Bora Bora sand.
The activity ends with the return of the guests by water shuttle to the pick-up point (hotel pontoon or Vaitape quay): approximately 30 minutes' journey.
